Christina Lagao is the ERC Administrator for the Departments of Art History and Theater, as part of the Fakultät für Geschichts- und Kunstwissenschaften of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. Lagao works with Professor Doctor Christopher Balme of the Theatre department to orchestrate the 2016 ERC-funded project “Developing Theatre: Building Expert Networks for Theatre in Emerging Countries after 1945.” In the Art History department, Lagao works with the SACRIMA team, as well as with Professor Doctor Burcu Dogramaci’s 2016 ERC project “METROMOD: Relocating Modernism. Global Metropolises, Modern Art and Exile.”

Lagao currently pursues a PhD with the Department of Arts at the University of Winchester, UK, with a dissertation entitled “Creative agency and cultural education through forms of experimental approaches to musicals with amateurs.” She will conduct her research with students of the Drama Department at LMU, where she also teaches practical seminars (2016 to the present), entitled “musical-storytelling.”
